Where to Stay in Ubud with Family

When it comes to where to stay in Ubud with kids, you can either stay in the town of Ubud itself or the nearby countryside.

If you’re short on time or want the convenience of being within walking distance to shops, cafes and attractions; it’s best to stay in the town.  However, for those with a few more days to relax, I’d highly recommend staying in the nearby countryside as it is absolutely stunning.  Make sure you choose accommodation with fantastic views, whether that’s across rice terraces or the jungle.

If you’re staying out of town and have older children, rent some bicycles to get around, this is such a great way to explore Ubud.  Otherwise, taxis and private cars are pretty easy to arrange to get you where you need to go.

In the guide, I’ve included both places in the town of Ubud as well as the countryside.
