Where to Stay in Adelaide with Family

The Adelaide CBD is much smaller than many other Australia cities; and with the free tram and bus route, it really doesn’t matter where you stay within the CBD because you can easily get wherever you need to go.

Many people visiting Adelaide (me included) like to spend a few days at the nearby Adelaide beaches, with one of the most popular being Glenelg.  It’s only 30 minutes via public transport from Glenelg into the city centre, so Glenelg is well worth considering as a place to base yourself.

In this guide, I have included accommodation options for both the Adelaide CBD as well as Glenelg.

Heading to other South Australia destinations?  We also have guides on Victor Harbor and Hahndorf too.
