Oaks Oasis Resort

When it comes to kid friendly resorts Sunshine Coast offers, the Oaks Oasis in Caloundra would have to be one of the best.  There are so many awesome kid friendly facilities at this Sunshine Coast resort accommodation that your kids will never want to leave.

Hotel rooms at Oaks Oasis Resort Caloundra are actually quite spacious and are large enough for a family of 4. There is no kitchen, but these rooms do have a small fridge and some crockery, making it possible to prepare snacks and breakfast in your room. The bathroom is a good size and the whole family can be in and out without too much issue!

The good thing about choosing Mooloolaba accommodation for kids is that the area is not overly big.  Basically, Mooloolaba is one long beach, with an Esplanade running along it and you can easily walk from one end to another.

Best Maroochydore Family Accommodation

For families wanting a busy city centre for their Sunshine Coast holiday, Maroochydore is a great choice. Maroochydore is one of the Sunshine Coast’s major city centres and here, you will find the massive Sunshine Plaza, the Sunshine Coast Airport, and some of the quietest and undeveloped beaches on the Coast.

Novotel Twin Waters

Novotel Twin Waters really does have it all; it’s one of the best family friendly resorts Sunshine Coast offers.  This resort has a high standard of accommodation, beachfront location and plenty of exciting entertainment on site; you’re sure to find something to entertain the kids.

Families can enjoy a one-bedroom suite with one double bed in the bedroom and pull out sofa beds in the living area. All apartments feature air conditioning throughout, a fully stocked kitchen and laundry facilities, free wifi and a balcony with either river or garden views.

The resort has a private beachfront where you can hire a range of water equipment such as kayaks and stand up paddleboards. Facilities onsite also include a 20-metre lap pool, children’s wading pool, spa, sauna, half-size tennis court, BBQ facilities and you can even use the jetty if you bring your own boat.

The location and price are really hard to beat! For such an amazing beachfront location, you really do get a bargain.  It’s also great if you’re after some of the large family accommodation Sunshine Coast offers.

What’s not to love?

It’s a little isolated but that’s what makes the location so great.

RACV Noosa Resort

Located in a slightly secluded spot, the RACV Noosa Resort is a fantastic place for families who want excellent facilities right on site.

There are several accommodation options at this resort, such as suites and two and three-bedroom apartments. Some of the more expensive apartments come with private plunge pools or rooftop spas. Two-bedroom apartments have at least one large bed and two singles, while three-bedroom apartments come with a large bed and four singles. All apartments feature air conditioning, an ensuite and main bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, free wifi and a balcony.

Kid friendly facilities at RACV are in abundance, with a heated lagoon-style swimming pool with an artificial beach entry and a heated swimming pool, with two water slides and a splash park. In addition, there is a playground, heated spa, restaurant, bar, fitness centre, tennis court and free onsite parking. There is even a free shuttle bus which will take you to Hastings Street.

Families who want the absolute best should definitely take a serious look at the RACV. This is a highly rated resort for families and well worth considering if you want a resort-style holiday.

French Quarter

Mantra French Quarter is right in the heart of Noosa’s shopping district, on the entrance to Hastings Street. It’s great for families who love the beach with Noosa Main Beach across the road and all the National Park beaches within walking distance.

Family accommodation here is in two bedroom apartments and comes with one large bed and two singles. Every apartment features air conditioning, a washing machine, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, free wifi and a private balcony.

The facilities at Mantra French Quarter are also great and include a lagoon-style swimming pool, a children’s pool and two spa pools for the adults. There is even the ability to order room service, which is a nice bonus when you’ve had a long day exploring, and there is free onsite parking for guests.

  • Located across the road from Noosa Main Beach;
  • Surrounded by all the shops, restaurants and cafes of Hastings Street;
  • Noosa Spit: 10 minute walk;
  • Noosa National Park: 10 minute walk;

  • Noosa Junction: 15  minute walk

Why we love it?

Location, location, location! This place is surrounded by cafes and restaurants and right across the road from Noosa Main Beach.

What’s not to love?

Because of its great location, it is a little pricey, but it is excellent value compared to other properties in the area.

Summary

Families who want to be in the heart of it all on Hastings Street won’t be disappointed here. With the Noosa Main Beach across the road, the National Park not too far away and all the shops and cafes nearby, you won’t find more central accommodation.
